Olivia Vineyard

So, first things first:

My name is Olivia Vineyard (aka Librarian Liv!)I am newly graduated from Sam Houston State University. I will attend the University of North Texas to get my Master’s degree in library science starting in September of 2022. However, I don’t want to wait until I have my Master’s degree to begin my journey as a librarian!

So who is Pearl?:

Pearl is my 2006 Bluebird school bus that I have renovated to become a mobile library! She and I travel all over to spread the love of reading and Jesus to families all over the community. She is my pride and joy! Pearl and I will go all over to low income areas, homeschool co-ops, and anywhere else for story time. Story time will be a time of me reading to kids and then using the storybooks to connect them to different Bible stories using felt boards, puppets, and crafts. Afterwards, kids will then get to take home a free book from Pearl.

So how can YOU be a part of this new adventure?

There are so many ways that you can help! I am always in need of gently used children’s picture books up to 7-8th grade chapter books. If you don’t have any books and would still like to give, you can be a one time giver or a monthly giver by donating below. And lastly, you can help me by praying for me and for Pearl. Please pray for guidance and wisdom as I begin this new chapter of my life!!
