Kimberly Howe

As a literacy and ESL ministries consultant, I can offer my experience, passion, and training to help churches develop English as a Second Language (ESL) ministries. My training and experience equip me to give basic ESL training to volunteers who want to start ESL ministries through their local churches. My hope is to see ESL ministries started in the Northwest. 

Internationals arrive in our country for many reasons. Some are looking for safety, better education for their children, or better employment opportunities. God created them and he knows their dreams, their fears, and their longing to belong. His plan for the world is to gather all people of all languages to understand who He really is and to see His glory. We long for men and women of all nations to know the God that we know. Many internationals are looking for friendships and desire to belong in their communities but do not know where to start. They can often feel lonely and hopeless due to their circumstances. 

Churches can develop an ESL ministry to connect with internationals willing to hear and consider the Gospel, often for the first time.
