BSM engages college students to follow Christ and transform the world through evangelism, discipleship, missions, leadership, and church life.
Gifts to this fund may be used by Texas Baptist Student Ministry for three purposes: (1) evangelism & ministry training for BSM staff & students, (2) discipleship & evangelism resources, and (3) support for the Campus Missionary Intern (CMI) program. CMIs are recent college graduates who raise their own support and serve full-time on a Texas campus doing evangelism & disciple-making. This strategic program trains dozens of young missionaries each year and provides a crucial staff development pipeline for Texas BSM and beyond.
This fund was established in honor of Robert Hooker, who was a champion for evangelism and created the CMI program in 2005 and oversaw it for fifteen years. Through Robert’s faithfulness, the CMI program grew to the largest Baptist Collegiate Ministry internship program in the nation.

In the event that it is impossible to use the monies for the designated account (i.e. a staff member no longer being employed), sent monies will be utilized for that local BSM's ministry needs or other underfunded staff.
